Facebook is ‘Sorry’? Savvy Users Will Forget, NOT Forgive, Mark Zuckerberg
All is well that ends well? NOT in the Facebook massive privacy intrusion world!
“Stop using Facebook” is (still) the only sure fire way to escape the Mark Zuckerberg quest to intimately monetize every single virtual poke, purchase, photo, graffiti…of every single member of his vaunted “social graph.”
The 23 year-old Harvard drop-out’s blog “apology” does not ring true; Heck, it doesn’t read as if Zuckerberg even wrote it, himself!
Zuckerberg today on Beacon:
We’ve made a lot of mistakes building this feature, but we’ve made even more with how we’ve handled them. We simply did a bad job with this release, and I apologize for it.
Zuckerberg weeks ago, hailing his “completely new way of advertising online”:

Beacon is a core element of the Facebook Ads system for connecting businesses with users and targeting advertising to the audiences they want.
Beacon is SO core, that it will continue to shine brightly on Facebook users’ actions, no matter the Facebooker’s privacy setting!:
If you select that you don’t want to share some Beacon actions or if you turn off Beacon, then Facebook won’t store those actions even when partners send them to Facebook.
Clear then? OF COURSE NOT! Facebook “social graph” PR speak continues to reign Zuckerberg supreme, and Beacon does as well.
