Microsoft’s Yahoo Bid a Winner: Google Running Scared!

Google rules! What are they? Eric Schmidt, Sergey Brin and Larry Page will have their Internet way, or NO way, for any one else, if the once $200 billion market cap corporation that is determined to control ALL the world’s data has its manipulative PR way.

Google’s “openness” rant has worn very thin. After all, as long as Google proudly sponsors the multi-billion dollar GOOG fuel AdWords black box, non-transparent, Google always wins purportedly “democratic” auction, Google has NO claim to call any other powerful corporate non-stop competitor an enemy of “openness.”

Nevertheless, the single company that the entire commercial Internet is dependent upon for Web traffic and Web monetization, steps up to the Microsoft-Yahoo plate to call foul because it may finally face MORE serious competition.

In seeking to rally the world against Microsoft, however, Google demonstrates that Microsoft HAS made a smart move in its fight to unseat Google: Google is running scared, and running to the regulators.

Google’s most disingenuous wounded warrior plea is the notion that all that matters to Google is the “interests of Internet users.” Users do matter to Google, as long as there is “no ceiling to monetizing” them.

Moreover, Google ought to be more prudent in calling out an excessively dominant Microsoft-Yahoo portal position, lest regulators take a closer look at Google’s excessively dominant Web services share.
